Join us for a deeply nourishing weekend of music, beauty, and belonging.
Hosted by Luke Featherman and Reggie Riverbear
We welcome you to our in-person gathering:Â
The weekend of June 27th - 28th, at Anahat Sanctuary in the Ananda Village, California
This weekend is a joyful immersion into creativity, voice, songwriting and the living spirit of music. Together, we will gather in community to sing, write, create, and remember music as a pathway of connection rather than performance. Through classes, circles, ceremony, improvisation and fireside song sharing, we will explore how to soften pressure, open the creative channel, and allow songs to be received in a more natural, authentic, and alive way.
Saturday is devoted to opening the voice, softening the pressure of performance, and reconnecting with music as a innate, human, and sacred expression. Through storytelling, singing, guided practices, and fire ceremony, we will focus on clearing the inner blocks that keep us from creating freely and authentically.
Sunday is devoted to the art of receiving and creating songs together. Through songwriting teachings, harmony exploration, improvisation, and collaborative music-making, we will explore how simple, heartfelt songs are born and how music becomes most powerful when created in connection and community.
We will gather in the heavenly gardens of Anahat Sanctuary, a gorgeous temple home located in the Ananda Village in Nevada City, California, a devotional community that has been tending this sacred land with loving care for over 50 years.
A true treasure located close to the majestic Yuba river atop a gold mountain, and built in the Vastu Shatra tradition, this space is a profound healing sanctuary.Â
